Great State Aleworks, established in 2017, is a production-brewery, based in the bylanes of the industrial neighbourhood of Wadgaon Sheri, Pune. We're focused on modern and experimental ales using local ingredients, with an emphasis on juicy IPAs, tangy sours and millet ales. We supply to over 50 bars & restaurants in Pune, Mumbai, and Goa. We’re slated to be the first India microbrewery to export beers abroad.
Our brewhouse was designed entirely in-house with the help of friends. All of our equipment was fabricated 100% in the city of Nashik, Maharashtra.
Our self-designed 10 HL brewhouse is robust and has churned out over 500 batches as of 2022. To complement our larger brewing system we have a 2 HL pilot brew plant which has churned out hundreds of small batch series and experimental beers.
Over the years, we have established ourselves as one of India’s most experimental, collaborative and community-forward breweries brewing great quality & innovative beers that are consistent.
Our range extends from our flagship beers to our millet beer projects and about 30 small batch series!
